Deriheru is short for “delivery health,” a Japanese term for an adult outcall service. After a booking is confirmed, a companion travels to a customer’s residence, hotel, or other accommodation. Despite the word “health,” it is not medical care.
This guide explains where a deriheru visit takes place, how a booking is coordinated, and the basic rules that shape the service.
Where a deriheru visit takes place
Deriheru is an outcall service that operates without a storefront. Instead of visiting premises operated by the business, the customer receives the agreed service at a residence, hotel, or other accommodation.
In this context, the word “shop” usually refers to the business that accepts and coordinates the booking. It does not mean that the customer starts the service at a storefront.
The hotel and the outcall service are separate businesses. A visit does not imply that the hotel is affiliated with the business, and the hotel’s own visitor and security policies still apply. Some hotels may restrict visitors or require guests to meet the companion in the lobby.
Is delivery health the same as an escort service?
English-language guides sometimes use “escort service” as a general description. However, it is not an exact translation of a Japanese regulatory category, and services and rules vary by country and business.
How a booking is coordinated
A request is not the same as a confirmed booking. The booking team first checks the requested companion, date, time, location, and other necessary details.
The “booking team” refers to the staff who coordinate the reservation. It does not mean that the customer needs to visit a reception desk or office.
Booking team
Checks availability and confirms the time, location, price, and other booking details.
Companion
Travels to the confirmed location and provides the agreed service during the booked time.
A booking is confirmed only after the business verifies that the requested details can be arranged.
Is the booking team the person who makes the visit?
Not necessarily. The staff who handle booking inquiries and the companion who makes the visit have separate roles. Customers normally arrange the booking with staff before meeting the companion.

How a Club Focus visit is arranged
Club Focus Shibuya confirms the availability, time, location, price, and important service notes before finalizing a booking. Its published booking process is as follows.
- Send a booking request. Provide the requested companion, date, time, hotel, and any other information requested by the booking team.
- Wait for confirmation. The booking team checks the details and explains the price, payment method, and any location-specific requirements.
- After checking in, send your hotel name and room number so the visit can be directed to the correct location.
- Follow the hotel’s access rules. If the hotel requires visitors to be met in the lobby, the booking team informs the customer in advance.
- Complete payment before the service begins. Cash is paid directly to the companion in the room. If card payment is available, payment must be completed in advance.
Club Focus can arrange visits to selected hotels in Shibuya and central Tokyo. Customers should confirm their hotel and payment method with the booking team before the visit. See the How to Use and Pricing pages for the latest information.
Is a booking confirmed as soon as I send a request?
No. A booking is confirmed only after the booking team checks the requested details and accepts the arrangement.
A regulated business category
Japanese law classifies dispatch-based services of this kind as a type of non-store-based sex-related business. This category generally covers businesses that dispatch a person, at a customer’s request, to a residence or accommodation to provide services involving physical contact in response to the customer’s sexual interest. The category is defined under Japan’s Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Business, etc.
Businesses in this category must submit a commencement notification to the relevant prefectural Public Safety Commission. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police publishes the notification requirements for businesses operating in Tokyo.
A notification does not permit conduct prohibited by law. The same Act also prohibits operators in this category from having people under 18 serve customers or accepting customers under 18.
Regulating a business category is not the same as permitting every possible service or act.
Does filing a notification permit every service?
No. The notification is part of the regulatory process. The business must still follow all applicable laws and age restrictions.
What first-time customers should remember
Deriheru is an outcall service model. The business coordinates the booking, the companion travels to the confirmed location, and the hotel or accommodation continues to control access to its property.
Before booking, confirm that the location can accept the visit and wait for the booking team to approve the arrangement. Current booking conditions are provided on the How to Use, Pricing, and Terms of Service pages.
